| Sherfield Manor was built in 1870 and called Buckfield Manor. Captain J. Aiden Liddell V.C. M.C. lived here between 1907 - 15. In 1947 the house became a girls boarding school called North Foreland Lodge, and in 2004 it became Sherfield School. |
